I paint because painting is in my body, in my heart, in my soul. I paint because I am addicted to the mystery. I paint because the colors make me sing.
I paint to render the intangible, tangible, so I can see my insides on the outside. I paint to discover how I am feeling, like secret messages from my unconscious.
When I am troubled, the painting shows me the way, transforming my uncertainty, hurt, and heartbreak into hope. That feels like magic to me.
I paint because I can’t imagine not painting. I am grateful to have a passion in my life that calls me to such devotion.
Thank you for being on this journey with me.
