I Will Give You Everything And Then I Will Let You Go Free
This is still my favorite thing I have ever made. I made it in a writing and book making workshop at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico in 2015. All the pages were made individually using ink, stamps and various papers, and then the pages were sewn to consistently sized strips, and then bound with the Japanese Stab Binding Method.
The theme of the book is a reflection on the relationships I have had, and one relationship in particular that was on my mind at the time.
I think I love it because the materials were limited, I was so deep in the flow, in the process, and it just came together in an effortless way that I wish could be the case for all art projects.
